You stand on a generous catwalk overlooking a truly vast library stretching into the distance beneath your feet. Looming above is a massive vaulted ceiling where cool blue light gently shines from crystals that float through the air, all at different heights and different sizes. They illuminate enough for you to make out your surroundings but the distant corners of the hall remind you more of the night sky, black and obscured save for the points of starlight painted across it.
The catwalk continues east until it meets a wall and continues south. To the west it stretches into the darkness. the north wall holds an archway with stairs that ascend, lit by the tawny light of torches.
Before you, near the wooden railing of the catwalk, stands a small, round table, with an ornate chair tucked between its elegant legs. Resting on it you see an open book and a saucer with a cup full with tea.
